Originally from the East Coast, I spent most of my youth chasing whatever my latest obsession happened to be. Usually this meant learning a new instrument, crafting a short story, or trying to do something “artistic.” Eventually all of these obsessions led me to the West Coast, where such things were broadly encouraged.

Over time I found a profession that combines my love of writing, design, and multimedia experiences — all with a touch of data analysis. Because who doesn’t love data?
